What is Beacons?
Beacons is an all-in-one creator platform: a link in bio, a store, email marketing, a media kit, Instagram auto-DMs and an AI assistant called Beam. It has a free plan with a 9% fee on sales, and paid plans from $10 a month that drop the fee to 0% at $30.

Beacons, often called Beacons AI, is a creator platform that bundles a link-in-bio page with a store for digital products, email marketing, an auto-updating media kit for brand deals, Instagram auto-DMs it calls Smart Reply, and an AI assistant named Beam. It has a free-forever plan and three paid ones: Creator at $10 a month, Creator Plus at $30 and Creator Max at $100. The catch on the cheaper plans is a 9% fee on everything you sell, which only goes to 0% from Creator Plus.

What Beacons does
Where Linktree started as a page of links and added selling, Beacons has tried to be the whole creator toolkit from the start. Its pricing page lists these parts:
- Link in bio and websites: unlimited links and sub-pages on every plan, plus small multi-page websites (1 site with 1 page on Free, up to 15 sites with 10 pages each on Creator Max).
- Store: digital products, affiliate links from what Beacons says are 12,000 brand partners, and courses and memberships on the higher plans.
- Email marketing: signups from your page, sends, automation sequences and an audience manager with unlimited contacts.
- Media kit: a page for brands that updates your audience and engagement numbers daily, with rate cards and invoices.
- Smart Reply: Instagram DMs triggered by keywords on reels, posts and stories.
- Beam, the AI assistant, which writes copy, generates images and designs pages, metered in daily AI credits.

Creator's main additions are a free custom domain for your page and product links, and advanced SEO and marketing settings such as your own pixels. Creator Plus removes the sales fee and adds buy-now-pay-later at checkout, unlimited courses with video hosting, unlimited memberships and unlimited email. Creator Max adds Google Workspace, white-glove onboarding, faster support, a physical NFC card linked to your page and invitations to Beacons events.
What the 9% fee means in practice
The free plan is usable on its own, but Beacons takes 9% of each sale on Free and Creator. On $300 of sales a month that is $27, close to the $30 Creator Plus price, so anyone selling more than that each month pays less overall on Creator Plus. Below that, the free plan is the cheaper way to start. Beacons pays out to your Stripe or PayPal account; the pricing page doesn't say what processing costs on top, so check that before you compare totals.
Smart Reply, Beacons' Instagram auto-DM
Smart Reply is included on every plan, Free too, and the pricing page lists Instagram DM automations as unlimited on all four. Someone comments a trigger word and gets a DM pointing to your page, another link, or just text. Beacons' product updates from August and September 2026 added pausing, per-automation clicks and click-through rate, an optional follow-up to people who didn't click, and an optional step that asks for an email inside the DM.
On Free and Creator, the advanced DM features carry Beacons branding: with the opening DM switched on, a "Sent with Beacons" line follows your message. Since 2 Sep 2026 you can turn the opening DM off on any plan, which removes the line. Creator Plus and up never show it.
Who Beacons suits
- Creators who want one login for everything: page, store, email, media kit and DMs.
- People pitching brands, since the auto-updating media kit, rate cards and invoices are built in.
- Beginners who want to sell before paying, accepting the 9% fee until sales justify Creator Plus.
Where Beacons falls short
- The fee stays until $30 a month. Creator, at $10, adds a custom domain but keeps the 9%.
- Email is tight on the low plans: 50 sends a month on Free and 500 on Creator.
- Courses are limited below Creator Plus: one course with no video hosting.
- Breadth over depth. Each part is simpler than a dedicated tool for that one job, which is the trade-off of any all-in-one.
Alternatives
