Instagram has a QR code of its own, under your profile's share menu, and it works well. Make one here when you want a file you control: a vector SVG for print, your brand colours, or a code you can drop into a design without a screenshot.

The code points at instagram.com/yourname, so it keeps working if you change your profile, but not if you change your username. If your handle might change, point the code at a link-in-bio page instead and change the page.

How to use it

  1. Type your username.
  2. Pick a style and colours. Dark on light scans on the most phones.
  3. Download PNG for screens or SVG for print, and scan it once before you print a thousand.

Does the code expire?
No. It encodes the address directly, with no redirect through us, so it works for as long as the profile does.
How small can I print it?
About 2 cm across is the practical minimum for a phone camera at arm's length. Give it a quiet margin of plain background on every side.
What's the mark in the middle?
The CueDM mark, which the code is built to survive: it is made at the highest error correction, so it scans with the mark in place. Turn it off with Logo if you'd rather not have it.
