Instagram keeps a single line break, but it can collapse a run of empty lines into one, and a line that is only spaces disappears. A caption written as tidy paragraphs arrives as one block.
The fix is to put something on the empty line that Instagram treats as text but nobody can see. This tool puts a Braille blank (U+2800) on each empty line and trims spaces from the ends of lines, which are what usually make a break vanish.
How to use it
- Write or paste your caption with the spacing you want.
- Copy the result from the right-hand box.
- Paste it into Instagram. The blank lines stay blank.
