Discord strikethrough

In a Discord message, wrap text in two tildes: ~~like this~~. For names and fields where Markdown doesn't work, copy Unicode struck-through text here.

  • Strikethrough

    o̶l̶d̶ p̶l̶a̶n̶s̶

  • Underline

    o̲l̲d̲ p̲l̲a̲n̲s̲

  • Double underline

    o̳l̳d̳ p̳l̳a̳n̳s̳

  • Slashed

    o̸l̸d̸ p̸l̸a̸n̸s̸

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent anywhere.

In messages, strikethrough is Markdown: two tildes either side, ~~like this~~. That's the best choice there, because the words stay searchable.

Names, nicknames, server names and some bot fields ignore Markdown. There, the Unicode version on this page works: each letter carries a combining stroke.

Why do the tildes show instead of a line?
The field doesn't support Markdown. Use the Unicode version from this page.
