Upside-down text generator

Flip any line of text upside down, letters, numbers and punctuation, reversed so it reads properly when the phone is turned round.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent anywhere.

There is no upside-down alphabet in Unicode. The effect is built from letters that happen to look like rotated ones: ɐ for a, ǝ for e, ʎ for y, borrowed from phonetic and other scripts. The line is then reversed so it reads from the other end.

A few capitals have no good match and are close approximations. Lowercase reads best.

Questions about upside-down text

Anything else, write to support@cuedm.com.

Why is the order reversed?
Turning a line upside down puts the last letter first. Reversing it means that when someone turns their phone round, the words read in order.
Can everyone read styled text?
Most people can see it, but screen readers often read these letters one by one, or as maths symbols, and in-app search may not match them. Keep your username and the words people search for in plain text, and use a style for a name, a heading or a word you want to stand out.
