Facebook cover photo size
Make a Facebook cover at 851 × 315 that works on both screens: computers show it wide, phones cut the sides. The preview marks what a phone keeps.
Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent anywhere.
Facebook displays a cover at about 820 × 312 on a computer and 640 × 360 on a phone. The phone's shape is taller, so it keeps the middle of the cover and cuts the sides.
Design at 851 × 315 and keep text and faces in the middle, inside the marked area, and the cover works on both. Guides disagree on whether to upload larger; a larger image at the same shape is fine.
