Light bubbles come in capitals, small letters and digits. Dark bubbles and the boxed styles only exist as capitals, so the tool raises everything first.

Dark bubbles and boxes are emoji-adjacent characters: some phones draw them in colour, some in the text colour. Check on the device your audience uses most.

Why are my letters all capitals?
Unicode only has capital letters in the dark bubble and boxed sets. Light bubbles keep your case.
Can everyone read styled text?
Most people can see it, but screen readers often read these letters one by one, or as maths symbols, and in-app search may not match them. Keep your username and the words people search for in plain text, and use a style for a name, a heading or a word you want to stand out.
